Bear Grillz
at the Blue Note
Nov. 10, 2017
Bear Grillz graced the Blue Note stage one Friday night in Columbia, Missouri, with some electronika beats and dubby baselines. It was certianly a dubstep event for your mind, body, and sore neck to remember.
The event was sponsored by the Mizzou Electronic Music Organization, which plays a pivotal role in the local electronic music scene. I have been photographing MEMO events for the last few years, developing skills in low-light, high-movement scenarios.

Marco Burchi
Florentine artist
June 11, 2017
Marco Burchi is a contemporary artist working out of a studio gallery in Florence, Italy. Through his use of Florentine soil, Burchi physically imprints a local identity into his work.
These photos were taken for a study abroad project with the Florence University of the Arts. I wanted explore the winding streets and escape the usual religious Renaissance art Florence is known for. I think I succeeded.

Stoke & Burn
Parkside Skateshop
June 23, 2016
James Wingo and friend Raphael McWhirter race the looming weather in Columbia, Missouri as they show off their freestyle skateboarding moves.
The under-construction half-pipe in the backyard of the Parkside Skateshop proves a struggle for rusty 'Wingo' and creative outlet for seasoned 'Raph.'
